What an exciting time to be at Charrette. With the start of a new year, we are approaching one of the
most important and exciting times for Christ-followers – EASTER! This COVID season has put a large
damper on what we have been able to do, but it is not going to keep us down. Charrette has done what
is must, as have the vast majority of churches around us, to keep services and bible studies going. It has
been a joy to utilize technology to conduct virtual gatherings so we can stay connected to as many of
our church family as possible. But even with technology, it cannot replace the importance of church
family fellowshipping, encouraging, praying, and worshiping with each other – together – face to face.
This past Sunday, I placed a huge challenge before our church. That challenge is this – that on Easter
Sunday, we would see all of the faces of our church family in person. While we will still provide social-
distance seating options, there is still ample room for families to come in person and join us for Easter
worship. What better way to celebrate the resurrection of Jesus Christ than to celebrate it as a family –
I look forward to seeing each of you real soon!
